William C. Lazier Leadership Award
Russell Hirsch and Family

Russell Hirsch, M.D., Ph.D., Managing Director of Prospect Venture Partners, served for nine years on Interplast’s board of directors. As Chairman of the Nominating and Governance Committee, he recruited a visionary group of industry leaders to ensure Interplast’s ability to reach more patients. Russell and his wife Sara are exemplary humanitarians who commit their personal resources, intellect, and time to improving the lives of those living in poverty. They accept this honor on behalf of the medical volunteers and partners and most significantly to honor the patients who trust in Interplast’s care.

The late Professor William C. Lazier was the architect of Interplast’s evolution to become a leader in international development within the field of reconstructive surgery.
